Dan Korngold

Dan is an actuary and has a decade of experience working with credit risk in emerging markets. Dan was a co-founder and CRO of Brelo – a fintech company in Brazil which uses a borrowers’ smartphone as collateral for a loan, with proprietary software that locks the phone in case of default. Previously, he was Credit Scoring Manager at EFL. At EFL, Dan led the team that was responsible for building and assessing the performance of all EFL credit scoring models. Dan was also previously a project leader at Deloitte working on credit and ALM risk. He also volunteered as coordinator in the micro credit program of the NGO Techo.
Dan has an MBA from Torcuato Di Tella university.
